International TV shows top in Gulf
Middle East: International TV shows a strong performance in the Gulf and non -Gulf areas with a weekly viewing of 96%, according to EMS Middle East 2009, a study released by market research firm Synovate. EMS Middle East surveys approximately the top 13% of adults in 13 cities of the Gulf and non-Gulf area. The media survey looks into media usage for over 100 TV channels, 200 print titles and 40 websites vis-a-vis purchasing habits, business decision making, lifestyles and psychographics of the wealthiest adults in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan.
